Kent Fostering and Supported Homes are looking for new carers and hosts to join our outstanding fostering community and help care for some of Kent’s most vulnerable children and young people.
As part of our team, carers and hosts receive excellent support, high-quality training, and the opportunity to make a lasting, positive difference in a child’s life.

Folkestone Museum is running crafting workshops for primary school children this upcoming half term, from Tuesday 17th-Friday 20thFebruary. I was wondering if you could display the attached poster on your school notice board or via your social media please? Workshops last an hour. Children will need a timed ticket for entry from the museum’s reception, but the workshops and all materials are free.

We are pleased to share that ourOnline Safety for 7–11s programme will be running at theFolkestone Family Hub starting Thursday 26th February, from 4:00–5:00pm.
This fun and interactive 6-week programme helps children learn how to:
- Protect their privacy and personal information
- Spot fake news and online scams
- Handle online bullying and promote kindness
- Build healthy digital habits
- Play safely and fairly in gaming communities
- Grow confidence in navigating the digital world

Cygnets Art School Folkestone run two holiday workshops per day during half terms and school holidays — so you can choose to attend one, several, or all of them!
Students attending two workshops on the same day will need to bring a packed lunch, which they can enjoy in the classroom during the break.
Here’s what you need to know:Venue: Sandgate Primary School
Time: 10:30am-12:00pm and 12:30pm-2:00pm on both Tuesday and Saturday

Ages: Suitable for children aged 5-12
What’s included: All materials are provided. Just bring a sense of creativity!
