School Dinners

We are very lucky to have our own kitchen on site and our meals are prepared fresh each day by our caterers, Whole School Meals. The school kitchen staff are very much part of our school community, who care greatly about the food the children eat each day. Whole School Meals were selected to cook meals for our children as they not only provide tasty, nutritious and child-friendly food, but also are a "Social Interest Company", who complement the co-operative values of our school.
Children in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 have meals provided by the government as part of the Universal Infant Free School Meals Scheme. For older children, if your family income is £16,600 or less, your child may be entitled to free school meals . This link to the government website will help you make an application. Alternatively, applications can be made on the Kent County Council website, here. Please contact the school office if you would like help with the application process.
Paying for meals:
If you pay for a school meal, the cost is £2.50 a day. Meals can be paid for online and we ask that all meals are paid for in advance (we are unable to operate a "credit" system). We are using School Gateway for payments for school dinners. There is an app available in both the Android and Apple stores. Please download and follow the instructions and contact the school office if you need support with using the apps.
