Year R Emergency Services Visits

This term, Year R have been learning about ‘People who help us’.  We have been really lucky to have a visit from Kent Police, Kent Fire and Rescue and a local doctor.  We have enjoyed learning about their roles in the community, looking at the equipment they use and getting inside their vehicles.  We have even learnt to bandage our teddies!  Next, we will start to think about the job roles we would like to do when we grow up.

We could almost reach the steering wheel in the police car!

It was fun going inside the fire engine, but it was a long way up and the siren was very loud!
